Indian Oil to invest Rs 11,900 crores in West Bengal

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC) is going to invest around Rs 11,900 crore in the Haldia refinery and pipeline infrastructure in West Bengal. Stating this, Mr. Subodh Dakwale, Executive Director (Corporate Communication & Branding) here yesterday said around 10,000 petrol pumps in the country are now powered by solar energy and another 5,300 would be solarised by this fiscal. All petrol pumps would eventually be powered by solar energy, he added.
