ara Ali Khan is one chirpy girl who doesn’t need a festival to celebrate life. But she never says no to celebrating festivals with friends and family. This time on Durga Puja, the Kedarnath actress went all the way to Kolkata to experience Pujo celebrations in the city. From pandal hopping to dhunuchi dance, Sara did it all with her friends in the city.
The Simmba actress took to Instagram to share pictures from her Puja celebrations in Kolkata. And going by the pictures it seems the actress had a lot of fun with her friends. Sara not only went pandal hopping with friends but also did arti of goddess Durga.
On Dussehra today, Sara wished her fans a happy Dussehra. Sharing a photo with her brother Ibrahim and mother Amrita Singh, Sara wrote, “Wishing everyone a Joyous, Prosperous and Righteous Dussehra. May the evil in and around you burn like the effigies of Ravana.”
Earlier, on Monday, the newbie took to Instagram to share a video of mom Amrita Singh hiding her face sitting in front of a giant dosa. Sara captioned the video in her own unique way. She wrote, “When mommy and I set out to eat, We don’t care about diet-only cheat. Eating like this isn’t extraordinary it’s no feat, Even food competitors should shut up and give us their seat! #KushtiKiTayari #bharisawari #merimapyaari #sarakishayari (sic).”
In the video, Sara is heard saying, “Hi mom we’re live on Instagram. Why are you eating like this today? What’s gone wrong?”
Sara made her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath last year. Two-film-old Sara is already a favourite among filmmakers. She will be seen next in David Dhawan’s remake of Coolie No 1 opposite Varun Dhawan. Apart from this, he will also be seen sharing screen space with rumoured boyfriend Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s yet to-be-titled film.
Apart from that, Sara’s candour and wit in interviews has received glowing appreciation from all quarters. The young star’s fan-base has grown by leaps and bounds.
