The month of love has encouraged many to come up with innovative events celebrating the most precious emotion. Rajar Kobita Studio has arranged a similar evening at Dalhousie, where the organisers are searching for an alternative space in the city for music and poetry for an audience intrigued by lyrics and poetry on love. “The never ending longing for your love gives you a feeling that you can love someone endlessly even after knowing that she or he will not reciprocate anymore. We are trying to evoke such feelings of being in love forever through this event,” said Raja, an elocutionist at the show.
Unspoken words, poetry and ghazal wil be the highlight of the event today. The show features Raja and Jaydeep in the poetry and ghazal sessions respectively. Anubrata Gupta and new talents in elocution such as Ankur Kundu, Argha Sardar, Munmun Bose and Suranjana Chatterjee will read out from their collection of poetry, which will depict a never-ending love story. The programme will be hosted by Arijit.
