In a Covid-hit year, Xavier School of Management (XLRI) displayed extraordinary final placement as all 2019-21 batch students were recruited in a record time of two days.
There were a total of 358 candidates in the Postgraduate Diploma in Management – Human Resource Management programme and the two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Management-Business Management programme.
The final recruitment process saw participation from 108 recruiters with 370 domestic and international offers. There were 23 new recruiters who participated. The average salary saw an increase to Rs 25.1 lakh per year from Rs 24.3 lakh in 2020. As many as 33.3% of the students received pre-placement offers.

The highest domestic offers reached more than Rs 50 lakh per year from the BFSI sector. The top domains based on the roles offered were consulting, sales, marketing and BFSI. The Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Co, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture Strategy, Amazon, ITC and PayTM made the highest number of offers among the regular recruiters.
