Dancer and choreographer, Avirup Sengupta, and his troupe organised a dance gala recently at a city auditorium, along with Arnab and Amrita, who were also present at the do. It was followed by Avirup’s performance along with actress-dancer Devlina Kumar presenting a Krishna-Madhuri dance production. Other performers of the evening were Koyel Dalmia, Om and dancers from a city-based dance school. All the dance recitals were choreographed by Avirup.
Actress Rituparna Sengupta and danseuse Alokananda Roy were the chief guests for the event. Avirup said, “I am so thankful to Ritu Di, Alokananda Di, Devlina and all the performers for joining hands for a noble cause. The money collected will be given to a cancer patient. I hope to continue supporting the needy through my contribution in the fields of art and culture.”
