After reaching out to Covid and Cyclone Yaas-affected people, Sourav Ganguly, through his foundation, will now initiate a vaccination drive for the artisans of Kumartuli. Nearly 100 artisans will be vaccinated in the next week in a camp. Besides, there will also be a health camp.
Talking about the initiative, Satadru Datta from Dada’s team, said, “We are in touch with the local community representatives and they are helping us getting the list of 100 artisans done. It is important that such communities get vaccinated. We will try to reach out as much as possible. We are in talks with private hospitals for the vaccine. The camp will be held by the next week, along with the health camp.”Saurav Ganguly is currently in Dubai, where he is in talks with the authorities to host the rest of the national T20 tournament. Meanwhile, the men and the women’s India Cricket Team reached the UK, there they will be playing tests and ODIs.
